When using firefox and ie7, I can't navigate to hotmail or yahoo mail, and I get multiple pop-ups telling me I'm at risk and need to download antivirus software immediately. Also when searching for information on virus removal my connection times out. I've tried everything I can think of (which is not much) to get rid of this virus. I have ran multiple scans of Ccleaner, Ad-Aware 2008, Spy-Bot Search and Destroy, and Super Anti Spyware. None of the above have removed the virus. I ran HijackThis and here is the report. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It may just be me being blind, but i dont see anything nasty in your log... wait for a security bod to have a read though, not sure on this one

I dont see anything either but, combofix will tell us a bit more. Here's instructions

Download and Run ComboFix
If you already have Combofix, please delete this copy and download it again as it's being updated regularly.

* Download this file from one of the three below listed places :

http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/sUBs/ComboFix.exe
http://www.forospyware.com/sUBs/ComboFix.exe
http://subs.geekstogo.com/ComboFix.exe
* Then double click combofix.exe & follow the prompts.
* When finished, it shall produce a log for you. Post that log in your next reply

Note: Do not mouseclick combofix's window whilst it's running. That may cause it to stall

Combofix should never take more that 20 minutes including the reboot if malware is detected.
If it does, open Task Manager then Processes tab (press ctrl, alt and del at the same time) and end any processes of findstr, find, sed or swreg, then combofix should continue.
If that happened we want to know, and also what process you had to end.

In your reply:

* Post the combo fix log
* Post a Fresh Hijackthis log

What about smithfraud? I had the same problems with Windows XP a Long time Ago Smitfraud did the work.

He is infected with these 2 items.....

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [78d2b5e2] rundll32.exe "C:\WINDOWS\system32\wnoxdhbf.dll",b
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [BM7be1867e] Rundll32.exe "C:\WINDOWS\system32\qwqdrxus.dll",s

Combo fix should take care of it. If not, malwarebytes antimalware should.
