SATA port question

I'm trying to flash my 360 drive and it needs to be plugged into the main SATA port..

How can I figure out the I/O ranges for my motherboards SATA ports?

If it helps, I have a GIGABYTE GA-P35-DS3L motherboard.

...you don't need to know the SATA controllers' IO ranges to access them. Just plug the HD in and there. Done.

My 360's DVD Drive needs to be plugged into the FIRST SATA port.

The Sata ports should be numbered on the board. 1-2-3-4 or 0-1-2-3.

0 or 1 is the first port

This is from the EP35-DS3L, but I'm assuming the ports are the same:

Like StrangleHold suggested, the first port is labeled SATAII0, or the "0" port.
