compare 'n' selection of graphic card

please tell me which one is better for these 2 graphic cards, i mostly use for gaming and illustrator sometime.
1)Sapphire Radeon HD 3870
2)Gigabyte Radeon HD 3870
are both of these g.cards use ATI? whats the different of these 2 g.cards?
which one should i take?

they're the same cards just under a different manufacturer. it depends, if one manufacturer overclocked the card and has a better warranty then that would be the better card.

Well as most people will tell you, it would be worth it to spend a little extra to get the HD 4850 because it is much better than the 3870.
And if you HAD to get the 3870, I would get the Diamond (It seems to be a little better all around than the rest).

Or if it had to be between those two, get the Sapphire, it's a great company .

True. It's been said a thousand times, and nowI say it again, it's one of the best performers for the value currently out there, it's well worth the little extra price over the 3870.

Some manufacture would re-design for a better heatsink, or OC the card. Compare that as well.

what is OC?

i made my decision on choosing the HD4850 as they said is much more better than the 3870

the 4850 is the best mid-range card on the market imo. i'd get the 4870 for the extra money though its excellent.
