Choosing a laptop

Alright, I'm looking for a gaming laptop. I understand that if I really want to go in to hardcore gaming that I should stick with desktops but I'm going off to college and I want a laptop so I can take it around to all of my classes. Secondly, the max amount of money I can spend is $1500. Here are the laptops I've found so far and I need help choosing which one would give me the best gaming performance. If any of you know of other laptops that are better than what I have listed, please post them. Here are what I've come up with:

Thanks for your help in advance

You can do this: you can buy a really good desktop for the games (or build one) and buy an inexpensive laptop for classwork - because you'll never achieve equal performance with a laptop; if you do, you will have both a laptop and a portable cooktop :).

The 9800M GTS is a great laptop card, there's nothing wrong with having a laptop that you can game with.
