My New Desktop!

*This is my last thread, lol*

All of my parts came in Thursday and Friday, I was up until 3AM building the computer and installing Vista, the water cooling took the most amount of time. I made a video of me turning on the water cooling system for the first time (I thought, hey if it leaks water everywhere, it would be cool to have on video ).

Anyways, here are a few of the photos I took, which are all in chronological order. (Benchmarks will be at the end, shortly).

(I was upgrading my server as well, which now uses the Antec 900 Case)

I love The Office, kept me laughing while I was building the computer, lol.

cases are over rated, i just use a motherboard tray lol

Try doing that with a water cooled setup.

The Q9550, it was only $340, versus $1,000 for a QX9650, not worth it.

omega, its called a party on your desk you mainly set up the reservoir up higher, and leave the radiators vertical with fans on them, and away you go, lol, if i ever get the cash i'll show some pictures lol

Thanks, overall the 1200 is a great case, a lot of features that I wasn't aware of. To name a few, each of the fans on the front has it's own fan control knob on the FRONT of the case, so you don't have to go inside to change it from L/M/H, and it's actually a dial instead of a switch. The same for the rear, but instead of dials there is a small faceplate near the top that has the L/M/H settings for both rear and top fans, as well as the top fan LED (on/off). There are fan filters now which should help keep down the amount of dust in the rig, and there's plenty of room, however the 4870X2 fits with about 1/2" to spare, lol.

It's an extremely long card, but it does fit in the 1200. And check out my sig, I have a laptop coming Tuesday.

From what I heard the Corei7 won't be out until early next year.

you should've gotten 2 4870x2's, but it probably wouldn't fit in the case =P
