what isp and package do you reccomend

hi guys, i live 920m from my local exchange and am looking to get a decent adsl broadband isp and package which isnt too expensive,

what speed do you think ill be able to get from various isps, and is it worth signing up with someone like sky or should i stick to looking at companys like tiscali etc
 
im tempted by BE at the moment, does anyone use them, the reviews suggest that there the best internet provider arround and the price is good aswell
