how many C2D/C2D's have you overclocked?

just wondering on your experience with overclocking intel Core processors... here's my short list. again, this is just raw clock speed for the heck of it. all these were achieved on air cooling with gigabyte motherboards and are/were 24/7 stable at the posted speeds.

E6300 B3 480x7 = 3.36ghz sold
E6400 B3 450x8 = 3.4ghz traded
Q6600 B3 400x9 = 3.6ghz friend's ormand
Q6600 G0 428x9 = 3.85ghz friend's beretta
Q6600 B3 390x9 = 3.51ghz friend's sean
X3060 B3 380x9 = 3.42ghz sold
X3220 B3 400x9 = 3.6ghz customer colton
E8400 C0 450x9 = 4.05ghz still own
E8400 C0 475x9 = 4.27ghz still own 520x9 = 4.68ghz superpi benchable
E8400 C0 450x9 = 4.05ghz friend's brad

e6300 2.71ghz ... bottlenecked by the motherboard.
getting a Q6600 soon, hope to get to 3.4ghz

E6300 to 3.6GHz
Q6600 to 3.85GHz
E2200 to 3.2GHz
E8400 to 3.8GHz
Q9550 to 4.0GHz

yea i was gonna say i thought that was an e6400... lol and omega i have the worst luck, my gigabyte board only o/cs my e6300 to 2.2ghz and this one only hits 2.71ghz...

stupid gigabyte crap overclocks the sata ports thats why lol... and this board just wont run past 1550fsb at stock voltage.. which im not willing to increase because it has a passive cooler. i have a fan for it but its so tiny it doesnt make a huge difference over what my big typhoon blows through it.

what board do you have man? i've never had a problem overclocking with any other board other than the G31M-S2L, but i can't complain too much bc that board was 60 bucks.
