i tried to merge this 2 drive when i'm format my pc.
but i didn't manage to merge it.
can anyone tell me why and how to solve it?:D

that isnt 2 drives you have squared in red....

the one in green is just showing you the free space available on your C: drive

actually..my bad..

It appears the portion in green is indicating free space left from other 2..on disk 0

C: drive is9.54 free

In any event,,what you have squared in red is not 2 drives!

sorry,i'm not very understand with what you mentioned.
but i wish to merge that 2 memory space to form 1 partition.
is that any way to do so?:)

if i understook corectly you have a primary, extended and logical drives.
you can use fdisk to remove the logical drives. in fact if this is the case you have to remove the logical drives 1st within the extended partition. this will create a larger extended drive. then you can remove the extended drive and merge it with the primary.

it works the other way to add drives. create an extended drive then you can add logical drives inside the extended partition.

hope that make since. then you format each drive.
some proggys like partition magic works well. ive used before but have done it many times from dos commands.
partition magic could make your job a lot easier.
