Songs won't play..

So I was listening to some music the other day.. and one of the CD's I had I figured my dad would want. So, I decided to burn it for him. Music kept playing and all was well. The CD burnt fine. Then when I started up Media Player again, I got an error for every single song on my computer. This was the error I got.

Note - nothing starts up in Media Player classic, Winamp, or iTunes.

I uninstalled a codec pack I had, and installed K-lite off free-codecs.com (tootheotherone's recommendation)

Any suggestions?

Download and install VLC media player then right click on the audio file you want to play and open it with Vlc rather than WMP and see if it works.

ive had problems before with WMP but VLC plays mostly anything these days :D

Did you actually read the error I am getting?

And I said I've tried multiple players..

Okay i didn't read very well, so none of the audio files on your computer work.
Try booting with a linux live cd, (make sure the sound driver is installed on linux) and play the sound files. Do they work?
If yes the problem may be windows.

On serious side though, try it. Just to see if it wasn't some weird coinsidence that your sound hardware blew the moment you finished the CD or something...
