How do i figure out power requirements?

I'm building a system with q6600 2 4870x2s crossfire. possibly water cooling but i haven't ever attempted that before and i was planing on trying to overclock my cpu to 3.0 ghz.

in addition would i have to overclock my memory along with my cpu? to keep them running at the same speed.

I know i should be able find the power requirements for each part but im not sure what im looking for as i couldn't see anything about it.
 
Well depending on parts, most of us on the forum can estimate what size Power supply you need....
 
Im going to use
2.4 q6600 oc to 3.0
dfi p45 mobo
400 gb sata 3 hdd
2 4870x2 crossfire
1066 memory 4 gig
plus water cooling kit for cpu
 
7200 rpm

really 700 i was planing on over a thousand man i was way off with the crossfire and all
thats good though it will save me some money :)
 
well most of the motherboards with that chipset are ddr2-800 and i really wanted 1066 memory. or i found one with 1066 memory but the fsb is faster so i would have to upgrade my cpu :( so frustrated :( will a motherboard with 800 memory be worth it?

No you wouldn't... the rated FSB of a mobo only tells the maximum it's desgined to run without OCing, you're fine with a CPU that's got FSB lower than the mobo.

Okay, even though the above would probably void your reasoning, the answer is still yes - no application out there can utilize full bandwidth of DDR2-800 in dual-channel, DDR2-800 and DDR2-1066 with same relative timings would perform equally in any real-life applications.

Awsome, i i guess ill just upgrade the mobo and ill be set. but it 700 really enough for for 2 of those cards in crossfire?
