Got a new build, I been tinkering with build for awhile and I think I have goten a good build for $500(A little over if you will).

1 Question; Say if the motherboard memory said it needs 1066 but I pick a 1000 RAM stick, would the RAm still work with the motherboard? Thanks alot guys for your help once again!

Tell me what the computer needs or does not need, I would really apprciate it! Thanks.

1. - That will still work.

Get a 500GB 16MB cache hard drive for that price.
Get a DVD Burner
What is the main use of the PC???
 
I would suggest that you get an antec three hundred case to save yourself a couple of bucks. The three hundred has more air circulation options, and it has some pretty neat things like dust filters. The smilodon is all bells,whistles, and lights.

I dont need a DVD burner, but will it still CD and DVD stuff(CDs for games, and movies)?

Main use is for budget Gaming computer
