oh i see, so it has to be same model of GPU if not either one is not going to perform well. i just curious about it on what going to happen once i cross like that. thank you for ur replyas for the 4850 with a 3870!! why would you want to do that? assuming it does work you will only be able to run at the lower cards speed!

im sorry, i cant get what are you trying to say. mind explain it?Doesn't Hybrid Crossfire allow you to mix 4-series cards with older generations?
I *think* there was something called Hybrid Crossfire that allows you to crossfire older cards (2 snd 3-series ones, I think?) cards with the new 4-series ones, but with which cards can you do it and how it performs I don't know...im sorry, i cant get what are you trying to say. mind explain it?
ok, thank you so much for it. i think when i want to crossfire my GPU then i should be getting the same model because all these seem complicated to me.I *think* there was something called Hybrid Crossfire that allows you to crossfire older cards (2 snd 3-series ones, I think?) cards with the new 4-series ones, but with which cards can you do it and how it performs I don't know...
