will a AMD 9750 work on my GA-MA770-DS3
im not sure if the HT is to fast for that mobo.
i have heard that the 125W CPUs will only work on the 790 chipset mine is 770.
will my PSU be good enough for the rig it would be 9800GTX+ AMD 9750 4G ram 2x500G HDDs the PSU is a 650W with 2x12V rails @18 each
 
Yes the 9750 works with it. It can run the 95 or 125 watt 9750.Zipzoomfly has the 95 watts model. The 9750 only has a HT of 1800/3600. That board will run up to 2600/5200

AMD 770 chipset work with phemon. However in the early stage of the chipset release, it was the Mobo manufacture's design cannot cope with 125W CPU. Nothing do with the chipset.
