Hey, im new and need help with gaming computers

[Alexain]

Hey, i want to get a good gaming PC, but dont no what to buy if you could offer a couple ideas for a good computer for under $1200,

also i wouldnt mind building one, but i dont know what any good components are. If anyone could make a list of all the pieces you would need to build one and the website you can buy them from i would be quite grateful, also i suck at putting my thoughts into words
