look a like laptops, fake picture,or not?

Hey everyone,

Like i said my dad 4 my bday is ordering my Advent 4401 today :D yeah!

But here is the problem...
At pc world you see this picture and it says it's the advent 4401:

and you see this picture when you click on Advent 9912:

Don't you think both picture's look the same! Is the 4401 advent picture accurate?

I thought i could trust the picture since is from pcworld.co.uk

:confused: which one is which!

:( and i thought the 4401 was a perfect design but how do i even know thats even it's own design!

Please please please tell me if 4401 looks like the pic on pcworld.co.uk

if you read the small print you will see it says that the pictures are for illustration purposes only.

and maybe they do look the same. maybe they are identical on the outside, but one has a better CPU or something.

They obviously just use a stock photo on the webiste like alot of places do online.

If it is so perfect for you, why didnt you even look at the machine in person? Go to the store and look before you buy it.!!

You can't, I went to PC World and they dident have any display copy'sand i want to know how it look like, seeing i want a light-weight nice laptop, and they are both diffrent 4401 has core2, 160gb hard drive and 2gb ram wheres 9912 has 1gb ram, 80gb hard drive and i think basic vista.
 
Well its not the same pic for sure. I can see the difference of lights and camera positioning. But looks like the same laptop. Maybe you could look on other site?

Jest had a quick google, they all are the same pictures, seems like they both look exsactly the same! and your right they probley jest look simular, because i can see too that the lighting is diffrent and the camera is placed a bit downer on 9912.

A search engine isn't always going to be right, but you can nearly guarantee it will be able to point you in the direction of your answer.

Think about it, a search engine will give you the internets answer, so it's a collective answer.
 
If they are both "Advent" models then they probably share the same case but one may have extra features. My laptop has a cutout for an HDMI output but it isn't actually there because HDMI is a feature for the same laptop but a higher model.
