Let me guess. . . gaming?

I assume you mean a QX9650 processor? Apart from that, looks good to me.

How much did that cost you then? I've lost track of how much I've spent on my rig. If you post where you're buying from (and the retailer you're using), we might also be able to suggest similar products for a cheaper price.

Looks damn good to me bro. You should be able to run anything you want in my eyes.

Man, you are wasting your money!!! You do not need a QX9650 and a GTX280 to play WOW and Starcraft 2! If you're gonna play some of the newer games in the future, or edit HD video etc, then yeah. If not, why!

Just get a Q6600, and a 9800GT Ultimate. That'll even hold it's own on Crysis, let alone WOW.

yeah I meant newegg, I'm not worried about the money, this is for future gaming also. I can always upgrade and I have to start somewhere

Appropriate username then. Also, I agree with junker.

Where's the BluRay??? LG do a BluRay/HD-DVD combo now, and its fairly cheap compared to standalone players - bargain compared to what they used to be.

Ebuyer do the same thing - thats where I got mine. Make sure you have a decent screen to make full use of that graphics card too. I would recommend a 1680 x 1050 minimum, but a 1920 x 1200 or even a 2560 x 1400 if you can afford it.

EDIT: Began writing before your post. Sorry. Bear in mind that this version can also play HD-DVD too, and you can use it to rip your HD movies to your PC as backups, or to play without the disk.
