okay, forget the games, forget the video card. Is the processor and ram good enough to handle high level gaming?

intel core 2 duo processor E4700 (2.2 ghz)
4096MB 667MHz PC5300 Dual-Channel DDR2 SDRAM (2-2048MB modules)

oblivion yes, crysis no.

to play crysis maxed with AA etc.. you need SLI or crossfire, or a dual gpu card.

it's really quite graphics intensive i suggest getting the HD 4850 though. with a light overclock you can play it on medium settings with good fps. medium settings is still very good for crysis.

personally, i'm probably going to get another HD 4850 and o/c it to 4870 speeds. my card currently has 70% of the 4870's bandwidth and 100% of its processing power. it barely out-performs mine. of course, i did a pencil mod on both gpu and memory with the accelero s1 rev2 cooling it. currently running 35C under full load :D

what about bioshock and assasins creed?

easely maxed out I think

bioshock and assasins creed really? wow is crysis that much of a drag on the video hardware? i thought bioshock and crysis was neck to neck as far as hardware demand goes, but i guess crysis needs way more

For your price range a 4850 is a good investment. I can play crysis on high no AA or AS and get good frame rates with no serious drops on a 22 inch LCD and the rig I have in my sig. I am extremely happy with it.

Actually for Crysis, you can play it with settings on high and AA at 2x with a 9800GT and those are around $120.

But obviously, if you have the extra cash, then get an awesome card.

thats wrong you are confsed.

PC 3200 is not 3200 mhz

He never implied that. He said that PC3200 was a measurement of speed.

Btw, you are one of the most obnoxious posters. One worded answers. How about elaborating and actually helping vs. just trying boost your boost your post count.
