Memory reading wrong?

I think my memory is reading as 800 mhz instead of 1066. Here is my cpu-z If so how do i fix it?! My mobo is an eVGA 780i FTW

Yeah, I also get the same thing.

I've tried to manually change things and my pc-8000 @1000mhz reads the same as if it is pc-6400 @ 800mhz

Alot of boards will default it to 400/800. Probable all you need to do is go into the bios at set it to 533/1066, ever how it is listed. Then check your voltage and timming to make sure it set to what the default is at 533/1066 listed
 
I've changed mine...all that stuff and it still wont work.

I know its why I cant oc past 4.3ghz..its all a ram issue now.
 
i got it set to the 1066 but cpu-z still isn't reading it ass 1066 do i have to tax my system for it to read correctly... because it changes but not even my cpu is reading the right spead.
 
JEDEC highest approval for DDR2 is 400/800, thats why most board will default 533/1066 to 400/800. But if its listed as 533/1066 the manufacture guarantees it to run at the speed. Dont know why yours wont, but he has a different chipset and probably a different brand of memory so it doesnt mean his will not.
