I'm currently using a Telus Internet plan (I think around $30 a month) and the speeds I'm getting, I think it's pretty bad.

I have Shaw for my Cable Television, Telus for my phone and Telus for my Internet Provider. Television + Phone-wise I'm doing fine, but I need better speed. Do I need to switch my phone service if I switch internet?

According to Speed Test what people are getting in Vancouver:

No, you just switch your internet provider. It has no relations with telephone.

This is what I have.

Rogers and Bell both offer dry loop service so you dont need to have a phone line or switch if you are already with another carrier.

I have Bell dry loop and its great,...cant post test as im on shitty old laptop..

Like to see what you guys get. Isn't Shaw (since it's Cable) depend on what others around you are using, and speeds will suck if everyone using Shaw?

They fixed that problem awhile back. It doesn't suck anymore.

I upgraded from Hell (Bell) to Rogers.
I couldn't be happier download speeds literally tripled for the same price. :D
