Memory Timing?

What should I be looking for in the timing? The lower the better i heard.I was thinking of the mushkin 4 gigger at the timing 5-5-5-15. Is that good?

Regardless of what some people will tell you, the real performance benefit from faster timings is very small. For DDR2-800 (PC6400) 4-4-4-12 is fairly common and probably as good as you are going to get without spending a fortune. 5-5-5-15/18 is not bad either.

Crucial Ballistix are great RAM ;)

And I agree with Crome, timings are not going to give you a noticeable difference in applications. They might give you better scores on benchmarks. But yes, the lower the better.

Really? Should I go for Crucial Ballistix? The timing is 4-4-4-12 and cas latency is 4. All for 95 bucks.
