I can't wait for it! :D

As far as I know about the release date, it's still TBA 2009.

So I'll have to wait some more until it comes out...

In the meantime i found two picts:

Yea 2009...I love Valve but I hate how they take their time to make a great game. I have no patience I guess ^-^

They are the only company I have played multiple games on that wasn't riddled with tons of bugs at first install.
I am curious how HL-E3 will look with the next gen graphics though...I swear if Gordon reaches threw my monitor and slaps me for getting him killed I am downgrading my PC

like a certain reviewer said, Valve hasnt completely got the idea of episodic games..
its shorter games, for a lower price and shorter times between the release dates.
they got the first 2 points down pretty well, but appearantly are struggeling with the 3rd one.

either way, I'm pretty sure HL2:E3 will be pretty mucht the same as HL2, HL2:E1 and HL2:E2. dont get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with HL2... but I cant see why they need to take such a long time jsut creating maps and continueing the story on an engine they already got! (yea, I am looking forward to this one,.. still, I find it a pretty big downside that the release time between 2 episodes it so long,.. its not really justified imo) ( <-if justified is the right word to use there... but I suppose you know what I mean )

Episode 2 had me on the edge of my seat! When it ended I was like "NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

I can't wait to see that ship come even more into the storyline! What I especially liked was the developers commentaries! those were so cool to listen to!

Actually they are improving the engine as well. Graphics wise. Not by a wide enough margin though.

As long as they continue releasing good stuff, the release dates dont bother me that much.

And from what iv seen, none of their HL2 games have ever needed to be patched for any reason. So they are also doing a great job releasing a fully working game unlike alot of companies.

I personally would give my right penis to get a copy of ep.3 right now

Well I suppose if its not in use....sadly I would trade HL3 to keep mine.

Yep one of the FEW companies that don't rush their games....nothing pisses me off more then a game that is so buggy you can't play on inital install. (STALKER comes to mind)

Street Legal comes to mind.....

A cheap $20 ValueSoft game, but a badass car modding game.

I believe there is 5 patches out for it now? And you have to install them in order lol. Such fun.

Even the all mighty Far Cry has 2 or 3 patches out for it.

And well, as for giving his right penis. Im assuming he still would have a left one, and you only need one penis right?

Well Valve never actually releases patches they just update the small bugs in Steam automatically so you never notice or have to do anything. Not quite NEVER patched but it is most definitely the most hassle free game thanks to Steam

personly i think all games should use steam, a) for that reason and b) it should cut dont on people copying games.
