It sucks. Apple sucks. Why choose a Mac which is made of proprietary pieces, when you can get a laptop or a PC that you can upgrade, or build as you wish.

Watch the videos on the macbook, it is pretty cool how they make it. That industrial lathe is awesome.

RAM and HD is extremely easy to replace in the current Macbooks. Remove the battery, remove one panel access to all. It apparently is even easier now, but I haven't touched one of course.
It is even easier and they added an access panel to the SSD HD on the Macbook Air.
I like the new look, and I wish they had a better price break. The current macbooks are going down in price and will drop and stay lower until they sell out, to get rid of the current stock. I think that is where the $800 Macbook comes in. They want to get rid of their current stock so they can get the new ones out.
No it doesn't, unless you break it while opening it up in the process. If you break it while performing an upgrade that is not the machine's fault that is your fault and warranty will not cover such things.

Okay than let's just say about the software: Mac OS = bad. Why? Lack of games and software, and horrible.... not yet targeted by viruses, but it will soon be
Windows, even though it is full of malware, has many games, lots of choices in programs you want to use and... better than Mac OS anyways.

Well for example in video editing: you have few programs that can do that for Mac: iMovie, Final Cut, and the Adobe's apps.
But on windows you have Adobe's apps, Sony Vegas Pro, and so on... including freeware

What's wrong with those programs? More programs doesn't mean better
And OS X has freeware as well. So...

FINAL CUT STUDIO - Mac only - Used a TON in Hollywood and TV, and serious video production.
Shake - Mac only - one the highest used composting programs out there
Logic Pro - Mac only, highly used
Adobe, Pro Tools, Maya, 3DsMax, all run on both platforms Windows and Mac.
Windows - Video Toaster I think only runs on Win, let me check....eh google says no, so there ya go, one for Winders
OS X has like a billion more open source applications than Windows does, and it runs things like PHP, Apache, MySQL natively. Meaning it is already installed in the OS.

I wonder why Mac doesn't make a 14.1" laptop. I find it a very good balance between screen size and portability.

Well 15" is almost a universal standard for the Size/Portability issue, also 13" is a good choice for screen size while providing excellent portability. 14.1" is more of a "hybrid" and since Apple already has a 13" and a 15" laptop, a 14.1" laptop really wouldn't be cost effective considering they would have to have an extra manufacturing process to make the 14.1" screens and cases to fit. With a choice between 15" and 13" you either choose a standard size laptop or a more portable version.
