shall i upgrade?

i currently have a XFX 8800gtx graphics card, and am planning on getting farcry 2, i see its a graphically intense game and i wanna play it with detail, is it worth upgrading m 8800gtx or sticking with it for a bit. and if so whats the "it" cards around at the moment the cards to have for say £100/$200 ??

Your GPU will be more than fine for Far Cry 2. They say it's only marginally more demanding than Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion, and my 9600GT runs it at high settings. Your 8800GTX won't have a problem.

Ya. From what I've seen of this game thus far, and how they've described the game a gtx will be plenty. If you find that the gtx doesn't play the game the way you want, you can always step up to a 9800GT later down the road.

I kind of had almost the same question. I got the XFX 8800GT, That should do almost as good as your GTX right?
