Asus' video card warranty

was just wondering if anybody could tell me if replacing the thermal paste and the chewing gum on the graphics card, would that void the warranty

I'm pretty sure each company voids the warranty if the heat sink is removed even if put back, check with more people though.

I think the warranty is void when you remove the original heatsink...

I think he's referring to a thin strip of material that looks like chewing gum. I know Alienware uses it in their laptops as an insulator and it is "supposed" to conduct heat well.
