The best FREE antivirus software

Ok guys I want to know what you guys think is the best free complete antivirus protection software on the market right now?

AVG For simplicity.

Avira for detection rates and simplicity.

I prefer AVG Free.

I posted it so yes.

It also has awesome real time protection which stops everything any anything from even infecting your computer, you would have to allow it to get infected.

No, having 2 Anti-Virus programs cause conflicts with each other and actually make you less safe, i say ditch AVG and go with Avira.

Symantec (Norton) is okay, according to the lastest version it's suppose to be a lot quicker then it used to be but i'd still say to stick with Avira since is barly uses any resources and has a ton of features.

I use to the McAFee was pretty good but, according to the Kaspersky website or former graph that was there it is said that McAFee has about a 80% or 60% detection rate although i don't remember exactly. Although Kaspersky is good, you do have to pay for it and Avira if I'm not mistaken is a little better considering it's free.

definitely go with avast. avg, avira, etc. all have annoying popups and aren't as good anyway.

antivirus software is obsolete though... you have to be doing pretty sketchy stuff to get a virus

I actually don't really use one. But when I do :
Avira AntiVir Free (for realtime detection, etc)
BitDefender (costs $, but they have trials, is amazing at detection, but doesn't offer realtime, it's just a scan. Suggest downloading if you think you already have viruses)
