My new DVD burder doesnt have sound when i play DVDs but it does when i play a CD. What is wrong? Can anyone helpme? My computer is a desktop. Thanks Cal,

what are you using to play your dvds

media player often does that for no good reason

im using NERO SHOWTIME ESSENTIALS its playing DVDs but without sound

Try VLC or K-lite and see what happens
If they play with sounds then whoever installed Nero didn't install the dvd playback package properly.

probably the nero budle that came with your pc is not a full package maybe.
Anyway for best playback solution i strongly advise you to purchase PowerDVD.

nero is crap anyways
