In the Security section, I detailed malware/spybot infection problems. As someone uneducated and inexperienced in such problems, out of frustration (before finding this website) I began deleting all files that I thought could be related to the hijacking of my computer. I think I deleted some that I shouldn't have, including a folder called Intel(R) PROSet.
Via the Software Change/Delete section, I followed the Support link for Repair but it came back as an invalid. I did a search on my computer looking for a backup but, while their may be one, I didn't find it (is there?). I also went to Intel's website and tried to locate the proper files to re-download, but wasn't successful in locating them there (although I found several under that name).
The folder name I deleted was called Intel(R) PROSet... can someone direct me where I can find them to reinstall? I'm using Windows 2000 Professional.
Thanks.
