i recently purchased a HP Pavilion DV6810 laptop, only niggle i have with it is the fan noise, now when starting to use the laptop its a nice low volume with cpu temp at 55c after say 20 mins the fan goes very loud and is continuous and the cpu temp is still only at 55c, is there anything i can do to keep it slow and less volume, i checked bios its very limited and nothing in there

55c is extremely low!! im on about a laptop, considering the temp amd recomment is 95c lol and average i found on laptops is about 60-65 on idle, so 55c is very low indeed
It actually isn't, 95C would be the maximum temperature that it is rated to run at without severe damage, and even that seems really high. You do know that 95C is almost boiling right?

40-50C would be average for a laptop processor, with 60-65 being the load temp.
