Is it possible to use the internet I have set up for my Blackberry to send off a wireless signal and have devices connect to it?

Thanks.

Yeah, but if your with most carriers (i know att, sprint, and verizon for a fact) its against the TOS to tether.

Incorrect,

It depends on your contract. With ATT I can tether because im paying for the unlimited data plan. Just call your provider and they will let you know what requirements you must be meet. As long as you have the data plan your set though, you still have to call and get their info though.

Yup, I'm with ATT and have the unlimited data plan.

Thanks.

Furthermore, plans(unless specifically designated for tethering usage) cannot be used for any applications that tether the device (through use of, including without limitation, connection kits, other phone/PDA-to computer accessories, Bluetooth® or any other wireless technology) to Personal Computers (including without limitation, laptops), or other equipment for any purpose.
TOS can be found Here
The only plan that includes tethering is the "BlackBerry® Personal with tethering" and is an extra $60/month on top of your voice plan. Also, the reason i know this is because i was thinking about getting a blackberry earlier this year, and found all the providers pretty much have a "no tethering" policy unless you purchase a plan thats almost double what it is for blackberry data($30 more from att, $40/month more at verizon, not sure on sprints extra fee to tether)
