Find my MB model when I don't have the box? I forgot it and I was wondering if there is an easy way to go about finding it. The reason I'm looking is because I'm in need of a video card. My G33 775 Intel chipset is doing fine for what I needed 3 years ago, but gamming is hard and I'm on the lookout for a new one before christmass time. If I remember right, my MB supports both DDR2 & DDR3 Ram. If I have 6 Gigs of DDR2 RAM in my MB will it be able to support Video cards with DDR3 Technology? Thanks for all the help.

The memory on the video card has nothing to do with the memory on the motherboard. You can have DDR4 or higher and it wouldn't matter.

So my PC can support any kind of video card as long as it fits in the slot, and meets the voltage specifications?

Like said, the System memory and Video cards memory has nothing to do with each other.
