How exactly did they get pwned?
I read the article and I read all the god awful comments, and most of them are idiots with the few people talking about DNS being the only exception.
The Apple article got pulled too because the person who wrote it was wrong. Most technical writers are writers first and tech people second, they interperetted what engineering had told them wrong. They will rewrite it and republish it.
While, I won't sit here and say that OS X is bullet proof, but I fail to see where people try to get all uppity about such things and talk out their asses like they know what they are talking about. I agree that Apple needs to implement their updates in a better fashion, but there are still zero known wild self propagating viruses for OS X.
