SAPPHIRE 100256L Radeon HD 4670 1GB 128-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFire Supported Video Card - Retail

Will it work with ddr2 ram:confused:? Because my MOBO has 4 DDR2 slots.

Last but not least What is crossfire?
and how do i do It?
Pros?
Cons?
Video link?

crossfire is the option you get with these cards to buy another of the same card and run them both at the same time, increasing performance.

the video card will not make a difference with the ram, they have nothing to do with eachother.

well actually having a video card with dedicated graphics memory WILL make a difference to your RAM , A.F.A.I.K ;)

The type of RAM makes no difference when it comes to picking out a video card, that would work fine with DDR, DDR2, DDR3, etc.

you're correct, however, I never said the "type" of ram

Basically, if you're too lazy to look at the other thread, Crossfire is a way to use two of the same card in your computer (provided your mobo offers this support...not all do).

Let's say you have buy a 4670. After a while, it starts to feel too slow for modern games. The price has come down from the time you bought it. You can either look for a better, more expensive card out there, or you can buy a cheap 4670 and Crossfire (bridge that links your two cards). Now, you have two 4670s running in Crossfire, and you have enough performance to run things well for a while longer without spending a lot more.

It's AMD/ATI's version of Nvidia's SLI, if you've heard of that.

Crossfire has nothing to do with what system memory you run.

1. Its when you run 2 or more ATI cards together for gaming performance.

2. Same as answer 1.

3. Improves frame rates in games.

4. More power consumption, more heat, money.

5. I,m sure you have a internet connection to find your own video.

I never quoted you...

But now that I re-read your post, care to explain how it would effect the memory?
Well I used to have a 512MB Nvidia turbocache card, and providing you had at least 1GB of "SYSTEM RAM" it would increase the graphics memory upto 1GB when needed. so it has an effect wouldn't you agree?(probably not:rolleyes:)

That's because Turbocache uses your system memory, so yes if you have onboard video or a video card that uses both dedicated and shared memory then you will see a slight difference. However not with a completely dedicated video card.
