Which version of XP to get?

I got a new laptop this September and it has Windows Vista Premium edition on it.

However, I got a new job this December and I have to run a lot of database software that will only work in XP. Its all XP at my work. So I am tired of constantly having to borrow my friend' s computer and want to install XP on my laptop.

I am running 2.2 GhZ Dual Core with 3 GB of ram,

I am unclear which version of XP will be the best for me? The 64-bit? Home Edition?

Gaming i used 64-bit had no problems it had great performance aswell my computer components loved it haha (XP) or you could go for 64-bit Windows Vista Ultimate ive never tested it myself but i hear its pretty good.
 
With 3gb ram 64bit would not be beneficial, i would say just straight Xp pro or xp home would work just fine for your needs.
 
I think if you get the Media Center edition, it will be the best. It's basically a XP Pro but with more stuff.
