any suggestions? i got mike myers comptia A+ book to start...

An A+ book isnt really gonna help you learn this stuff. What you want is a Computer/Network Security book. I've got a few books I would recommend however I do not know the names of them right now. When I get home tonight I'll look them up for you and get you the information on it. I ised them in school and they have a lot of good information for people who need to learn. :D

You should be able to find more than enough information on all of those topics just by running a few Google searches.

You could probably get similar books like that for much cheaper! Try Ebay aswell they normally have some good prices for books like that.:D
