I wouldn't take a webscan as the end all info on your system. I would check the device manager and see if your drive is running in DMA mode and which DMA mode it's running in. A modern PATA shoudl be running in DMA5 or 6. If your drive is PIO then you have a problem. You can do a Google search if that's the case.

I went to device Manager and my setting say DMA if avaliable. What does DMA if avaliable mean?
