New Monitor?

I'm currently using a 20.1'' Sceptre 1680x1050 monitor, and was wondering if it would be better to upgrade to a higher resolution?

I'm open to monitors ranging under $500.

Does your aquos have 1080p res. or not?

You could look at a 1920x1080 res. samsung and one with 2ms refresh!?

Too be honest though..I see nothing wrong with your current panel unless you want higher res and faster refresh
 
We use something similar at our shop..

Just a different model # in Canada, most likely!

Really sharp panel!! and it should have built in speakers and webcam too

Yeah, for gaming...Crysis for instance...in 1920x1080 is absolutely crazy....you got dual cards also...

I used a single 4870x2 and it was like being in the jungle.
 
I have a hannspree 27.5 inch which is just BB's version of the hannspree although the size is nice on some games the dark colors like dark green to black,grey and blues look off in some times like dark hallways it is hard to make out doors and the rest of the hallway for instance.I have the latest drivers for my video card although it is old.

I would suggest getting a quality dell PVA 24 ".You can get one about the same price as the hanns g's plus the colors are more true.The size on the 28" inchers defeats itself because you end up pushing the monitor farther back so you can just move you eyes rather than having to move your whole head to scan the screen especially in FPS'ers.
