Programs on start up

Can someone tell me how to access the tick box window where I can disable programs automatically load up when you boot the computer? I did it some time ago but cannot recall how to do it!

Of course - I for got - I am using Windows Vista Home Basic how do I do it from this OS?

Click the START Icon on the bottom left of the screen. Then type run... in the search bar at the bottom and hit enter. Then type msconfig and hit enter.

or, in the bottom search bar type msconfig... and it'll fine it.

Also, you can hit *windows key* + R to get run.

Windows Vista is a totally different OS and you have to learn how to use it.
