Video Card Multiple Output?

I am getting my first video card!

i usually just use onboard cards, but i am getting my first expansion one.

the one i am getting has 3 outputs(DVI, VGA, and HDMI)

I was wondering if you could use both the VGA and DVI at the same time

not for Dual Monitor, just for 2 displays of the same image.

Yes you can set them to mirror each other.

Would this make the card work harder? and get hotter?

and could i possibly run video from all 3?

would there be any downs to this?
