Teach a noob

As far as I know, All AM2 and AM2+ only uses ddr2 memory. Phenom II will eventually get to use ddr3 when AM3 hits the shelves but as of now, the current mobos use ddr2. Very old mobos still use ddr.

How do I know which RAM goes with which motherboard?

ASUS M3A78-EM AM2+/AM2 AMD 780G HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard - Retail
