I just did it with everything on the highest settings, 16xQ CSAA and 16x Anisotropic filtering, (no vertical sync of course as that would limit the fps to around 60) at 1680x1050. The result was a bit over 145 fps.

Highest settings, at 1680x1050. (16:10)
Im sure it has no effect on the test, maybe some, but I was listening to music and downloading stuff.

I think I got around 300, I don't remember the exact number though.

Make sure when you run the test you set the FPS lock to something like 1,000, just so it won't limit your score.

Counterstrike source relies more heavily on CPU than most newer game do.
Therefore, technically, your CPU is holding you back but 141 is a fine score. Obviously, you'll be able to play without problems.

I just overclocked my PC too, im really noticing faster load times for TF2. I didn't realize processors could effect FPS that much.

At 1680:1050, i usually get around 140-150, depending whats on in the background.
With 16xQ CSAA and 16x Anisotropic filtering

In newer games, it doesnt. Yeah having a good processor is important but most new games rely on the gpu.

CSS was released a while ago ;)
