helllo guys i have a small issue with a video editing computer. my client has a PCI-X 64-bit canopus editing card that runs on 66mhz.. well we want to upgrade his computer and it seems that not many motherboards have that pci-x slot. he also only uses the firewire end of the card nothing else.. so i have various question.
1. will there be any difference in transfer rates if we just used a regular PCI firewire card? instead of the canopus card
2.i read somewhere that i can plug in the PCI-X card into the PCI slot but it will only run capped at 32bit..
3. is this hassle even worth it? should i make him buy another $3K card??
