I prefer Antec 900 for many reasons.

1 its not tool less....dear god I hate tool less cases...the moron who made them should be shot next to the guy who made the Intel Push Pin coolers.

2. Air flow...great airflow and rather quite if set on low/medium the 200mm top fan is a nice touch.

3. Cable management for novice users *bottom bay* or for advanced users (cut a few holes)

4. Price...got mine for 60 bucks free shipping...can get one @ Directron for 90 bucks includes shipping.

Though I have yet to mod mine...I got it out of the box after 3 weeks of it sitting in my closet....going to build it next Tuesday I think. Just waiting on a few parts to arrive.

One negative side to the 200mm top fan though is...if your stupid and keep liquid above the case and it gets knocked over...you could be crying. My desk has a "top part" which I am going to take off to avoid such a moment with the case ^-^

Mine was cut up before anything went in it! :P

I plan to do the same but no point in doing it till I get all the parts ^-^

Though I am gonna hook my board up first to make sure all the measurements are correct. I decided not to go nuts and just do the simple version for my case.

urghh! i just dont know what to do!

the coolermaster 690 is 5 inches too big to fit under my desk,i realy dont want to put it the other side of my desk on the carpet.

the Antec 300 and coolermaster 590 would fit under my desk but they both look very basic inside and not much good for cable management

what other cases from ebuyer or dabs.com would you guys reccomend?

I got the 300 dude, i think the Cable management is good, im gonna put some holes in the bottom and spray the inside some crazy colour. The build quality is awesome and its so cheap :)
I use to have an Antec P182, and there awesome with cable management :)
But its more £££.

hmm i took a closer look at the 300 and i see that if you remove teh rear panel (the one behing the mobo) Antec have made space to tidy away wires and also added built in cable clips aswell which seems a great idea,is this case quiet?

and do i need to buy any additional fans or are they included?

Considered a HAF?

too expensive mate i think theyre over £100 :P

You get a 120mm exhaust fan (rear) and a 140mm exhaust fan (top). But, they're molex, which i hated, so i replaced them with 3pin ones and bought a 120mm intake fan, runs nice a cool :) So definately buy one for intake or buy another 2 to replace the molex ones.

with my set-up, its near silent, the PSU is the other thing above 20db idle...

And yeh, there are little features which come in handy, little holes you can feed cables through like at the front for intake fans :)

I think its the best case ive ever bought, antec quality just real cheap :D

The Centurion 590 is a reworked 690 (in a way)

it takes the best from it and improves. You get the HDD cage in fornt with fan (better airflow), same amount of fans and placement, and the IO panel is in front.

It might look basic, but it gets the job done better than the 690 IMHO.

I agree ..One of the things i see with its open front cage design it can handle very long video cards if needed if they can extend into Hd rack area

Get the CM690, it's such a good all round case. It was more holes (for fans) than the porn industry.

It's great for cable management, too!
