Hope my mobo isnt broke

Hey guys i feel like an idiot. My first build and i was putting the coolmaster v8 on my mobo and first it was upside down. no big deal went to fix it. one screw was stripped and wouldnt come out so i went to my neighbor he held the back of the screw down with pliars and lef a small circular indentaion on the mobo. Hopefully everythings alright. then when putting the v8 on right i realized i didnt have the back plate on. fixed that just a big mess i hope everythings all right. Can motherboards take a little bit of abuse?

possibly, is it an indent on the copper circle around the mounting hole?

The area around the mounting holes are made to be forgiving if you accidentally do anything to that area. Just make sure it isn't near a lead and it will be fine.

It probably just wouldn't boot.

Take a picture of the damage and post it for us, it'll help determine if it's something to worry about or not

Thanks i appreciate but the slight damage is on the back of the mobo and it is already screwed into the case. i wont be finishing for like a day or so becasue i have exams but wish me luck and lets pray it boots haha.

i know for sure that if its on that copper circle, it will boot, you can actually drill those out to use bigger screws...so yeah
