Hi guys.

Thought I'd post this, its a great feature, that I think ive gotten because of SP2.

Whenever my system randomly turns off. (Im working in my room right now, have to turn the electricity off alot, so my system powers down on a cold shut off.

Anyway........ Each time I reboot the system back up from when it was cut from power. Go through POST etc etc, Windows starts resuming, like it had been in hybernation the whole time. All my previous work that was on the screen when I had cut the power from the computer is still there.

Is this some new feature?

Sounds like its not actually shutting down, just hibernating. Basically windows saves whatever was on your RAM to your harddrive, then when it boots up, copies it back to the RAM so hopefully its just where you left off.

Well the power wen't from on to dead off in a split second, I just flick the fuse.

I swear this never happened on SP1
