Someone gave me a hp 940c printer. Big problems

Someone gave me a hp 940c. The paper comes out to the side and crumpled up. ANd often gets stick in the outfeed. Is there anything I can do?

Theres something off track in there. Could be a broken part in there and it isnt really worth fixing and getting a new part. I would just buy a whole new printer

You may have some of the rollers inside the printer really dirty and therefore only some of them are grabbing the paper, forcing it out at an angle. Try rubbing the rubber rollers with some rubbing alcohol and try it again.

Although, if you have the option, I would reinforce Chuck's suggestion as the printer is over 8 years old at this point, the ink is expensive comparatively and the thing is probably going to die soon anyway.
