Hello,

I was wondeirng if anyone could be of some help. I am currently running windows vista ultimate. I am having a problem viewing pictures through my camera and phone. When i plug in my camera and phone using the USB ports it says it has a problem recognizing the drivers and i cannot look at any photos using it. I believe it has to do with PTP drivers. I am not sure if that driver is missing or what. Is there a way to check if i am missing that driver. I have tried multiple camera and none of them work. Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

I don't think it a ptp driver prob. I experience this before and the culprit is the cable is not connected properly, or should i say it was usb port prob. Sometimes it cause is lack of power supply or mobo problem. Try another port or try it on another pc.

i have tried all the usb ports. All of them do not read it. i have all the drivers downloaded for the motherboard. I am running vista. I know that the cameras and phone are vista compatible and their drivers are fine. I am not sure.

Have you attach your cameras and phone at another pc to see whether your cameras and phone ok or not?

yes they both work if i hook them up to a xp laptop or computer. Its just odd because my flash drives and anything else i use the usb with are fine. Just not anything with photos i guess.

Are you mean that your usb flash drive works fine in your vista machine??
