VX2025wm viewsonic 20inch or acer X223Wbd 22inch witch one would yall pick???? both are widescreen.

the viewsonic cost 80buck and the acer is 135. should i pay a little more to get the acer??

I got the Acer from a black friday sale for $130 and I think it's a great monitor. I upgraded from a VGA 1440x900 to this DVI 1680x1050 and I actually saw an INCREASE in game performance. Not sure if it's because of the DVI but I like it, :)

This monitor sits pretty low, making it look bigger. Of course this isn't important but it looks nice. Also has a programmable color setting mode built into the monitor. There's a preset gaming graphics mode which increases the contrast, reading mode to soften the image, standard, and a customizable setting. I got this monitor for the price, but I'm really happy with it. $130 is really cheap for a 22", I would go for it.

Only con that I can think of is the stand. The stand is metal, but it's a little wobbly and has sort of a, springy tendency. It won't break, but if you get earthquakes every day, it might get annoying haha. As long as the desk stays still so will the monitor.

I have that Viewsonic. I have had it for about 2 1/2 years now. It's done great so far and I don't regret the purchase at all! I bought it for like $250 at the time and never regret it. I say you'll be happy with the Viewsonic.
