Question about motherboard and chip compatibility

Would this motherboard support this chip?
I think it will, but i just want to double check before i invest money into it.

but the mother board is showing as "deactivated"

It is meant for 2-core processors, and considering you're buying a really good 4-core CPU, I advise you to get a more recent motherboard with full Phenom X4 support.
