Thinking of getting a new monitor

I'm thinking of getting a monitor this coming weekend, but i have some questions;
Is anything going to happen with OLED in the next few months?
What brand of monitor is generally best?
Should i get two and run dual monitors?

I was thinking of getting a 22" Samsung, it looks pretty good in the store.
I forget which one specifically but it was one of these three.

Keep in mind i will be buying it from Canada Computers and it will be in Cad. $

Thanks. :)

I have a LG WW2284F, and with only two months of use it has been flawless. Too bad they don't sell it at Canada Computers (or at least on the site), but if you are willing to look around my parents said they bought it in a Scarborough Future Shop or mall for my Christmas gift. If you really want to buy from Canada Computers though, I would suggest anything from LG or Samsung, as they seem to be top of the line brands. If you really want to buy one of the Samsung ones you saw at the store, I would recommend this one.. http://www.canadacomputers.com/index.php?do=ShowProduct&cmd=pd&pid=018710&cid=MT.282 (sorry I don't know how to link things into words :P.)

Edit: I didn't realize, but that one I linked has identical specs to mine, so I would strongly recommend it :).

Yeah i was looking at that one, because of it's contrast ratio. What does everyone else think?

i have 3 Acer monitors and no issues with any of them. I recommend the Acer for 203.99

After owning 2 Samsung monitors now...I think it might be the only kind I'll ever get. Great products for good prices. I was just in the local computer shop and I saw one of the Samsung Touch of Color series monitors...OMG! Now that's quality:)

I would recommend Samsung monitors to anybody.

Go with the Samsung there really reliable i love them. :D

Well i'll be going to the shop tomorrow and be looking at the picture quality of this and will probably buy it.

Any last minute suggestions? :)

I have both an Acer monitor and a Samsung. They're both excellent, so I'm sure you'll be happy with whatever you pick out!

Go Dual Monitors! Once you try it you'll never go back! It's the best! :D

Yeah samsung monitors are great, but the asus monitor that they had at bestbuy was pretty nice also, but i think the samsungs have the best picture quality/contrast ratios for the price.

Nice, what speakers are those?

Yeah i was looking at an acer for the same specs and it was 50$ more then the samsung. I was thinking of getting a 24" but i don't see the 2" justifying the 80$ extra that i could use to spend to a second samsung.

Well i'm off to the store and some breakfast, hopefully they have it on display. :D
