Plugging my laptop to a 52" screen (HDMI to HDMI)

Can this damage my laptop's graphics card? Overheat?
I'm running a ATI Radeon 3650HD 512mb on it.

go for it. i had mine up on a 60" plasma, and it looked gorgeous.

EDIT: if your lappy gets very hot under a heavy load, i highly recommend propping it up for maximum ventelation. also, consider downloading a core temp. monitoring software. rightmark CPU clock utility is great; it shows your temp in the notification area next to the clock. if it goes over 70C, shut it down immediately.

Even if I don't plug it in a 52" TV I get about 75C (my cores) if I game with it. On average it's at 65 though.

Not constantly, but at times it will go to 75-80C (80C when there's no ventilation) I don't have any problems with it though, but is this something bad on the long run? 75C on load for a laptop seems normal to me.

Here are my temp stats:
Core1 Low/Idle/Load: 44 / 47 / 68
Core2 Low/Idle/Load: 44 / 47 / 75
GPU Low/Idle/Load: 48 / 51 / 63

Temp is in celcius.
